The headers and footers are an attribute of a Section in a document. What is the reality? How can I copy multiple pages from a formatted document and have it keep all the formatted features and stay the "same" as the original? This would mean that the copy would NOT restart numbering in formatted headers, footers or numbered lists in the "body". I would pick "Keep Formatting as seen in source". Then I would click "Copy and Save pages 62-65"Ī new options box would open: "Keep all source Formatting" or "Keep Formatting as seen in source" or "Save as text file / no formatting" Window pops up with options: Copy and Save entire document? or Copy and Save pages x through y? or Copy and Save highlighted passages only Have a button on toolbar named "Copy and Save" It may not be possible, but I think it should be. Often the formatting, which is part of the original 70 page document, will restart bulleted lists and such. If I copy / paste the header or footer and move it separately to the new doc, the page counter resets to 1. I have tried highlighting the "body" text and copy / paste to a new document, but only the "body" pastes over. It is a procedure created from templates for formatting headers/footers and contents. I want to select 3 pages from a 70 page document.
